A very nice way to end my weekend. New-fashioned, fully functional room with an own bathroom and body wash and shampoo. Very comfy bed.

The staff was very pleasant and immensely pleasant, really made a difference to my weekend. The room was neat and the bed there was extremely comfy. Had such facilities, like a flat-screen TV with cable channels, central heating, and coffee/tea making machines. The view was pleasant, the service was great!
The staff were very rude, didn't expect that coming.

Clean hotel in a lovely building very close to Bolton as well as the casino facing. Very impressed with king room with a tv + phone. Excellent staff and quick to respond. Perfect location a 10-15 minute walking distance from Bolton Town Hall.

Central location, the most important points in the city are within walking distance. Free parking right next to the hotel with video surveillance. Very friendly and helpful staff.
I can't think of anything. I don't want to make anything up.

the staff.. very welcoming, informative, and friendly the staff who were around to help serve breakfast, very professional but at the same time very down to earth and made the experience of a strange place a comfortable place to be...so comfortable we sat there for a good long while chatting and ate a huge breakfast of all types of things.. the self service breakfast was superb i have to say
there were an awful lot of business men at the hotel eating breakfast, it was very noisy indeed.. but the pleasant staff making you feel very welcome and able to ask for any assistance needed wiped this fault out..

The staff were extremely helpful
The room I was given was shocking - extremely tired and scruffy room which actually felt dirty. There were stains all over the room - chair, bed throw etc. I could not believe I was in a Holiday Inn. I asked to be moved and was given a better room that had obviously been decorated so at least it felt clean. Would never stay at this hotel again and I will now think twice about using Holiday Inn

Location to town centre. Staff friendly and helpful.
There was an odor from the bathroom in room 414, so bad we had to move, The hotel is not 4 star. the bar/restaurant facilities are very utilitarian. The breakfast was poor , the cooked food was "jaded". I did not think it good value. It was more a budget hotel in decor/comfort but without the price

The room
Having to wait nearly 20 minutes for two coffees in the bar area, this also led to other guests having to wait this length of time to be served next. To arrive back after an evening out and find a young lady vomiting on the floor of the bar seating area and then into an ice bucket and extremely drunk. It would have been wise of the staff to help her to some where less conspicuous ,however she was left where she was to totally spoil the rest of our evening at the bar area.
